How to create your desires and get rid of mum guilt

Let’s be real for a minute here: we all want something.

We want to live in a better way than we did yesterday, to give more than we did to our clients, our kids, our family, to receive more than we have, to feel a sense of achievement and accomplishment. We all want to manifest something and feel the energy of those emotions coursing through our veins proving to us that we’re alive and that what we do with our lives is worth something.

Yet one of the huge things that really pulls us back can be guilt or mum guilt (human or furry animal both count!) if you are one!

Mum guilt, guilt over whether doing something we really want to do is selfish, guilt over what that means for the amount of time that we can give to other people, guilt over indulging in our own passions, guilt over what other people will think of us or judge us by.

It’s a hugely common emotion, yet guilt is one of the lowest vibrational energies you can hold in your body so not only is it pulling you back by mind, its physically affecting your biology and keeping you in stasis away from creating your desires.

It can be so hard moving forward with your goals, even the prospect of setting new ones can be daunting, the idea of stretching out of our comfort zones can be unsettling or feel really just like distant dreams.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

We have 60-80,000 thoughts per day and 95% of our decisions, emotions, responses and behaviours are subconscious – created from experiences we have had in the past.

So our past becomes our only point of reference and then when we want to move into an unknown future it can feel foreign, it can feel as though it’s not meant to be, even if it’s something you truly desire and that’s because your neither your mind or your body are aware of it – they’re not in sync with it, aligned to the vision you desire because it’s literally just a want – a conscious thought or idea that can make us feel mum guilt through and through.

 

So how do we move that conscious idea into embodied wisdom?

 

Let me start with explaining why it needs to be embodied – when information is embodied it becomes a part of us, it becomes a part of our cellular structure, a part of not only our conscious mind but of our body too.

Take for example a pin number or a phone number that you have trouble consciously remembering yet when you put your hand to the keypad, weirdly enough your hand remembers just what to do and which numbers to press. This is an embodied response.

Now in a quantum (yup I’m a science geek!) sense, if we want to create something within our reality we need to align with it’s energy, to vibrate at the same frequency. But obviously if our body is resonating at the frequency of guilt co-creation or quantum creation heck even embodiment of your desire can prove problematic.

Yet move that desire into an embodied desire, into your being, really going into detail of the scenario in your mind and taking the energy, the emotions from that scenario reconditions your mind and your body into that possibility becoming your present moment reality.

I try to hold back from using the term manifestation because of the negative or woo associations that so many people relate to the word or concept but in essence true manifestation is a science. It’s the interaction of your physical energy with the energy of the quantum field and because everything upon everything from atoms to trees, to planets, to the atmosphere has an energy, a frequency.

We’re all already constantly in the quantum process or conversation anyway which makes creating the reality we want, manifesting what we desire simply a manipulation of that energy that we can create quite simply within our minds, our bodies and our reality.

And yes, it’s whole heap more intuitive, holistic and organic than following someone else’s step by step rigid strategy can do because again – it’s tapping into you, who you are, what you want, what your desires are, what your emotions are, it uses your already existing energy, focus and human state – it’s not asking you to become someone else so that you can get someone else’s results from that strategy, its asking you to become more you so that you can get YOUR OWN results from using your own body, mind, energy, desires and intention.

How does that feel? If the concept has settled within your body and is starting to feel good then it’s clear that you resonate with it and freaking well done you for being so attuned to your body to know what your instinct or intuition is telling you, it really is a gift to be able to hear and know your self.

So you’re probably wanting to know how best to manifest what it is that you desire (and clear the mum guilt) and I’m afraid it’s not simple enough for me to explain in detail in a single blog post (I’ll try it in a video perhaps!). But what I can tell you is that there are a few basic steps that we can practice in order to raise our energetic frequency, to impact our well being (any emotion or response our bodies have impact our energy so if we’re in the energy of guilt, insecurity, lack, worry, self doubt, lack of confidence those emotions can impact our autonomic nervous system, our hormones, our immunity, our chemical balance, our ability to be in or experience deep joy) alleviate the mum guilt and help us manifest our desires. It’s quite literally scientific magic using the alchemy of your body (no high ticket strategy needed here).

 

 

Here are 4 tips to help banish mum guilt, raise your energetic frequency, help you create your desires and impact your well being.

 

 

Meditate

The lower brain wave states of meditation don’t only impact your nervous system, allowing your body space and time to relax, to heal, to balance, to become harmonious.

What people don’t realise is that our thoughts are also dictated by our energetic state so our thoughts become more focused, more positive taking us away from repetitive thought cycles (80% of our thoughts are the same as the day before) allowing us to think about our desires, to make our desires of higher importance, tapping into the details of them, the energy of them, the emotion of what would be the reality of them signalling the quantum field with the exact same energetic frequency you would receive had the event already happened. It’s freaking genius. And it’s that simple.

 

Practice Clearing

Your body may already hold blockages to your energy flow becoming or staying in a state of flow. Quite unintentionally we can hold emotions in our body. Take for example if you’re on your way to work and someone cuts you up or takes your seat which happens to be the last seat on the train and you feel annoyed then that feeling leads to you feeling a bit rubbish about the rest of the day – it’s happened right? But the chemical release of that emotion in your body lasts mere seconds (3-5 seconds if I remember correctly!) so essentially it really should pass us on by quickly but we attach meaning, thought and assign memory to it so it can last the whole flipping day and before we know it the day becomes a ‘bad’ one.

So all throughout that day you’ve been stuck in a lower energetic state. Practicing clearing means allowing yourself to feel whatever emotion you’re feeling, locating it in your body, tapping into how it really feels and then becoming an observer to it, watching it move by so you can get back to feeling more like your self again and get back into the energy that signals your desires to the quantum field.

Obviously it would also help if you can release preconceptions about what may already be possible for you, what you can create or manifest because those perceptions are based on the past and what we’re wanting to do is create a different future which needs to be based on new information, new energy, a new perception.

 

Cast your vision

Vision casting can be so powerful. We have to know what it is that we want in order to move towards creating it. Not knowing what it is in detail, not knowing what it would feel like or what it would mean to us leaves it in the realm of conscious thought. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not asking you to go off and create a vision board (although if that works for you great – I’m personally not a fan) but what I am asking you to do is fill in the gaps, the blanks, the details of what it would be like to be where you want to be, to feel the energy of that, to again teach your body that THIS is your new reality.

And the more you do it the more your body knows that frequency, the more you do it the more your mind knows that this is what’s possible for you, the more you do it the more you embody your new reality, the more you embody it the more you signal to the quantum field that this is what you’re calling in and before you know it new opportunities will arise that lead you towards it.

 

Practice Daily

Don’t forget that you have 60-80,000 thoughts a day and 95% of them are subconscious so if you really want to create a new reality, a new goal or desire for yourself then its going to take you tapping into it more regularly. Only giving it 0.01% of those thoughts per day isn’t going to make it happen quickly, so tap into it, create a morning ritual of meditation, visualisation of journaling around your vision and becoming the embodiment of the energy of it and not only will you be healing your body and creating your desires but you’ll also be moving towards a new future, a new reality training your self to receive more health, joy, abundance and creativity with each breath.

 

Quantum creation or quantum physics can be a bit mind twisting sometimes so I’m totally committed to making all the science stuff more mainstream and bringing it to you in a digestible form because the reality of it is that this IS a science, this IS based on fact.

When so many strategies don’t suit every individual and can leave you feeling let down, failed or broke it’s super important to know that you already have all the tools you need to really create, manifest and live the life you desire: without the mum guilt holding you back from creating the life you want for yourself and your family.
