How your thoughts affect your bottom line


Well being and business education for creative entrepreneurs who want to live and work, really freaking well.

It’s been estimated that we have between 60-80,000 thoughts a day.

Many of our thoughts are habitually recycled from the previous day.

Our use of media (not just social but that is the predominant culprit) promotes chemical responses within our bodies – producing emotions, thoughts, an energetic vibration all of which affect our perception of ourselves and how we navigate our world.

Of course both of those things determine our productivity, our creativity and our ability to create and manifest what we desire.

So in order to create more success in our lives or the ability to create what it is we desire its necessary to change our thoughts, feelings and the connected response they have within our bodies.

New findings in neuroscience over the past five years have rapidly given us new ways of understanding how our brains – and our bodies – make connections and how those connections determine how we act and in turn how we live.

Say for example as a result of online comparison you hold the belief that your work isn’t good enough – it then has a knock on effect of you not feeling confident, not expressing yourself fully, not putting your work out into the world and hence not seeing the results you want, the income you need or being able to live the lifestyle you desire.

But what if we were to break down a limiting belief on a neurological level so that it was no longer true for you?

What if you could instead believe that it is an open playing field and that you have as much chance of your wonderful work being seen, loved and appreciated as the next person?

What do you think could change? – there would be a marked difference in your behaviour, in your expression, in your habits, in your energy, your inspiration, your productivity and hence your results, income and success.

Also in your thoughts and the embodied response you have to produce those thoughts and the emotions you experience on a daily basis.

In 2017 I trained in a new modality called MAP which is a tool that helps rewire neurological pathways making it possible to quite literally ‘change your mind’ and hence your biology, you thoughts, actions and life.

A completely painless and relaxing way to alter your perception and beliefs, this powerful tool has enabled me to help people with chronic anxiety, lack of confidence, PTSD, depression, eating disorders, lack of self worth, sexual trauma, money blocks and next level barriers and more – all of whom have gone on to live a fuller, happier life and create new results in their businesses afterwards because its our perception that alters our reality (not just strategy as we’re often told).

There seems to be an influx of people on social media giving us advice that’s hard to follow – move though blocks, push through fear, change your beliefs by writing down new ones, think more positively – but all of that advice, which is often contradictory, doesn’t necessarily give us the science or method to actually, practically do that leaving us confused, sabotaging and really none the wiser.

But if the 60-80,000 thoughts we have on a daily basis are altering our ability to create what we desire it makes sense to address that thought process.

As much as 90% of what we do is subconscious – determined by already existing neural pathways so although of course its much easier to stay in your comfort zone – if you want change in your life, body or business those neural pathways need to be altered.

Yes you can learn from books – but practical application really needs to take place as well, of course you can ‘work on’ changing your thought process to make it more positive – but that doesn’t affect your biology unless practised over a long time period.

You could however try meditation, hypnosis or MAP to help support the changes that you want to create more rapidly. These methods work rapidly because on altering the brainwave state that you are in, you are able to access the autonomic nervous system and the subconscious which is responsible for our perception of ourselves, our actions and therefore our realities.

I advise a combination for my clients – MAP to alter any long standing blocks to progress, rituals to alter habits and behaviour, nourishment to alter energy and your embodied coherence and meditation for personal connection, clarity, to cut out a lot of the BS we consume online and to align your biology to your higher self and desires.


Meditation and MAP are therefore highly effective in assisting us in altering our biology, our perception and our thoughts and rapid changes in beliefs can happen in real time opening the possibility for the reality we desire.

I used to find it hard to practise meditation on a daily basis with such an eager, busy and mischievous mind but on starting to my moods, my energy, my outlook and my perception of myself and what I was capable of achieving, creating and manifesting altered dramatically proving changes in my biology and reality to me.

After giving birth to my daughter and having quite the identity crisis I lost so much of the confidence I had embodied before hand and hence my perception of myself and what I was capable of creating in the world changed – and my bottom line was the mirror reflection of that.

I now practise meditation on a day to day basis and credit the amount of ease, peace, direction, connection and joy that I experience on a day to day basis to it.
