Are you tired?
It’s that time of year isn’t it? The time when our heads almost explode because they’re so busy of things to do and keep on top of – the festive to do list – food, gifts, makes, people to visit and places to take the kids, experiences to be had, to be cherished.
And thats all on top of the nag we have in the back of our minds to create our marketing plans for the new year, get our new years diary ordered and filled, the calendar straight, the to do list done whilst also reviewing how we did this year, whether we manifested our desires, what went well, what went wrong and POOF! Explosion right?
It’s all a bit much and we’ve had enough.
It’s been a busy year and the end of it always proves even busier as we race to hit our last goals and ensure that everyone and everything is taken care of for the festive period.
Then before we know it December has come, gone and flown right on by again leaving us in January wondering what happened and feeling absolutely shattered.
My friend, please for the love of dogs, allow yourself to stop for a minute.
If you’re anything like me you’ve spent the majority of this past year chasing through life, looking ahead, engrossed in what it is that needs to be done, doing doing and doing and moving towards what we think will get us where we want to go.
But when we do that we forget to just be and that makes manifesting your desires even harder.
I know you’re probably thinking ‘heck I have no time to just be..’ but here’s why it’s so important to gift yourself a little time…
When we experience stress or anxiety, when we’ve got a sh*t load to do on our task list (consistently), when our phones keep pinging with messages – or we keep picking them up hoping for messages – our bodies go into fight or flight mode.
Chemically we exist in a state of stress – a state that our bodies are not used to or designed to cope with. Fight or flight from a sabre tooth tiger back in the day lasted for the duration of that situation – not a prolonged period fighting notifications, social media, increased anxiety, prompted insecurities, worry and wonder.
When this happens we not only deplete our natural resources – our physical energy, the life force energy that fills our organs, beats our hearts, helps our bodies heal, rest and deal with life – but we also deplete our mental and emotional resources.
And when they’re all down – we experience low immunity, low energetic field energy (auric energy, which is a life force energy that surrounds all things and has a certain vibration) and when your energetic field is depleted we can remain in a lower state of being with decreased immunity both physically and mentally.
What that also means is that we then have a lower frequency energetic vibration so manifesting your desires, creating what it is that we focus our sights on as our goals, becomes a tough uphill climb.
Have you noticed that the majority of negative thoughts, worry and anxiety you experience is always amplified when you’re tired?
Because your life force energy is lower and your frequency is reduced encouraging lower emotional states, triggering memories of experiences mentally and physically which in turn trigger more negative thought patterns.
Sometimes we take it for granted that we have these bodies and they allow us to cope and deal with so, so much and we just keep going, keep pushing, keep asking for more from our selves.
We spend so much time taking care of others that self care becomes a luxury that we often think we can’t afford BUT for our own enjoyment of life, our own ability to create the life, the business, the income and the experiences that we desire – self care is an absolute must.
And mama’s – I know full well how tricky it can be but if your energy is depleted your ability to give what you want to your family and children is massively reduced too.
You’ve GOT to allow yourself to come first – even just for 15 minutes a day (yes thats less time than we spend flapping about what to make for lunch or tidying up toys) its an absolute non-negotiable (you can grab my free guided meditation to help you both manifest your desires and rest and settle back into your own energy and body right here).
Yes it is fantastic if you do have a daily routine and have a little time to yourself to journal, to meditate, to clear your mind and focus your attention on manifesting your desires, but ladies I’m talking here of stopping all together – just stopping.
So let’s be honest – how often have you used your phone whilst your sat on the toilet? And how often are you picking up your phone throughout the day to check if you have new notifications? We all do it so don’t be shy – admit it! We barely ever stop until we need to sleep.
We all keep going until we can’t anymore and we have to drop.
We’ve all experienced hustling to get where we want to go (yes I shivered typing that because its just not a word that I agree with or like to use, this mama is all about ease!) and more than likely felt exhausted from that too.
But take this as a gentle reminder that life is now, it’s here right in this present moment and we are never guaranteed the next.
Nourish yourselves over this busy festive end of year period.
Allow yourselves to be totally present with where you are, who you are, with what you desire and try not to judge it, to question if it’s possible, if it’s right because it’s all absolutely perfect and with you for a reason.
Be here now. Be with yourself right now.
The biggest gift you can give yourself, your business, your goals, your ability to manifest your desires and your family is your love and your love requires your energy.
Manifesting your desires requires your energy.
Creating the lifestyle, the income, the quality of life you want for yourself and your family requires your energy.
Allow yourself time to rest.
Business can wait (believe me, I’ve tested it – nothing drastic ever happens) but your enjoyment of life, your belonging in your own body, your joy, your presence to your life can not and taking care of you nourishes ALL areas of your life.
Are you truly taking care of you?
If you want to manifest your desires, to enjoy life more, you simply must.
